Children's Programming

Learn, Sing, & Move (ages 2+)

In 45 minutes, our signature circle time class covers a full curriculum of early childhood standards.  With a decade of experience in preschool education, owner, Katie Harrison, created a class that marries music, movement, and learning in a fun and engaging curriculum.  Starting the class with a short story to set the theme and encourage critical thinking, the class then moves into a music-based circle-time.  The circle time portion is filled with dancing, manipulatives, and instruments; during which, topics such as shapes, colors, parts of the body, weather, calendar, alphabet, numbers, and more are covered.  During each song, students have many opportunities to develop their gross and fine motor skills, as well as an understanding of rhythm and tempo.

Creative Movement (ages 2+)

In this 30-minute creative movement class, students will gain an understanding of movement as it relates to music and their body.  They will practice following directions and taking turns while being introduced to formal ballet vocabulary to begin developing proper dance technique.  Toddlers who practice dance are improving their physical health, social skills, and self-confidence.  Our creative movement class is designed to bring joy to movement through a well-constructed curriculum.
